My new favorite picture........

Wow! It's been a long time.....we were gone last week to Mom's.  We are slowly packing up her house and bringing her here....there's a lot of stuff to pack in that house!  She doesn't have air conditioning, so it's not the most pleasant job.

I'm enjoying the summer "slowness" ( sorry Tony, I will not say I'm bored! ) and we have been swimming a few times.  Lindsay went to camp last week.  It's awesome to have free time with nothing to do.

Boots (aka the puppy) is still here and Doug bought him a collar while we were out of town.  Sounds official to me!

Hello and howdy to one and all,

It's Friday night and I am considering what to do with my free time.  Yes, dear readers, I have some of it and it seems highly important not to waste it.  Doug and Lindsay are watching a movie again that they have seen too many times and I have deserted the living room for a more noble purpose.

We are down to one puppy, the black and white one with the little white feet.  Maybe if we are very quiet, Doug won't notice that she's still here and she can stay.  I am happy to say that the little one that looked like a cow ( my favorite ) went to one of Lindsay's friends.  I think they named him Freckles.

Well, it's a short update, but I hear a big, old hard cover book calling my name.

Good morning!

Happy belated Memorial Day to everyone....we went to Mom's for the weekend and it was nice.  Of course, she doesn't have air-conditioning and the weather was in the 90's, but that just gave us an excuse to go out and have fun.  We spent yesterday at the mall and played glow-in-the-dark putt putt golf.  That's a pretty cool idea.  We also won a free game because of my delightfully low score....hahah....if only it had been at clown golf in Boaz...my day is coming.  My name will be on that wall this year....

This is our last week with the puppies.  They have started breaking into our house!  If we don't make sure the door is locked, they have discovered that they can all rush the door like little NFL fullbacks and pop it right open.  It's pretty funny when they come pouring through the door.  This is your last chance!  Free, adorable puppies....

This is the last week of school.  Lindsay gets to spend the day at the park today because Edison won the all-sports trophy for the year and Kelsey is going up there with her class for lunch.  I'm pretty sure I had finals and stuff when I was in school.  Must be nice!
